Air quality in factory, laboratory and animal buildings is one of the key safety factors within pharmaceutical industries. The same is also true for applications within chemical & biotech research and development facilities. For any of these industries, or for laboratory facilities in general, the clean and hygienic aspects of the air are of critical importance and require specialist knowledge and attention. Supply air of specified quality –temperature, humidity, amount of fresh air, controlled volume- may be required for the comfort and safety of employees. Where it also affects the production process, it can be necessary to impose additional controls to ensure the cleanliness of the manufacturing process and to reduce the possibility of product contamination.
