Having been the pioneers of executive boxes 40 years ago, United is again setting new limits with the introduction of eight-seater facilities, and the EU has been selected to supply the air handling requirements for these boxes.

Their modular design gives complete flexibility, with a wide range of functions and options. Manchester United’s units feature airflow rates of up to 4 m3/s, and come supplied with panel & bag filters, gas burners as well as Fläkt Woods’ EU cooler packages.

Complete and fully operational

The cooler is a complete, fully operational cooling unit for air handling units, no requirement for external condensing units and refrigerant pipe-work. The cooling efficiency is extremely high with COP’s of 5, and complete with controls and a system that will ensure satisfactory operation of the cooling unit even at extremely high outdoor temperatures.

Old Trafford

Fläkt Woods is supplying 19 of its EU air handling units to feed the hospitality suites and executive boxes as part of the ongoing extension programme at Manchester United Football Club’s Quadrant Development.

Fläkt Woods have previously supplied similar air handling units for the East & West Stands.
